Nurse Assistant (non-certified)

Assist in patient care throughout nursing areas and stay suites, including safe transport via wheelchair or stretcher, room setup for post-op patients, and ambulation. Deliver patient belongings, change dressings, and perform bladder scans as indicated per protocol. Answer call lights, obtain specimens, and monitor vital signs, intake/output, and skin changes while reporting status to the RN. Teach bedside exercises, dietary restrictions, and pulmonary toileting techniques to patients and families. Maintain infection control, observe safety hazards, and participate in patient care rounds under direct RN supervision.
