Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by licensed nursing personnel, including bathing, hygiene, elimination, nutrition feeding, and ambulation. Perform regular patient rounds to support safety and satisfaction while communicating effectively with all team members. Demonstrate age-appropriate care knowledge and skills. Work night shifts (7pm to 7am) with a weekend option in a full-time role supporting Saint Francis Healthcare System's mission of compassionate healing and exceptional patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- proof of completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum that meets the minimum training standards as outlined in 19 CSR 30-20.125
- documented experience as a Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Room Technician or Surgical Technician in the past three (3) years
- completed a LPN program outside the US and is awaiting the licensure examination
- nursing student who has completed fundamentals or equivalent course
- nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examinations in the past three (3) years
- certified as a nursing assistant as defined in section 198.082, RSMo
- BLS Certification
- Night Shift, 7pm to 7am, weekend option
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience
- Previous computer experience
