Nurse Assistant Gyn Medical 6ST

Provide patient care according to the plan of care, unit routine, and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher, manage dispatch services, and document all services. Act as an Observer for patients requiring constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize safety. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit and document care provided in the electronic medical record. This role is part-time, day shift (6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), with variable days worked and every third weekend off. Located at Royal Oak Hospital's Med Surg Care Unit GYN 6ST.
