Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect care for residents as a caregiver and medication dispenser. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident records while collaborating with peers and departmental staff. Use tactful communication techniques in sensitive situations and remain calm during emergencies. Adhere to the facility's philosophy of encouraging resident independence and self-care. May assist with the Dietary department as needed. Work 80 hours per pay period in the evenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) in the State of Washington
- Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification
- Maintain regulatory requirements
- Report to work on time and as scheduled
- Complete work within designated timelines
- Demonstrates the ability to adhere to the mission, ethics and goals of the District
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate with patients, guests and staff in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner
- U.S. citizens or lawfully authorized non-U.S. citizens
- Show employment eligibility verification as required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
Desired Qualifications
- Assisted Living required certifications: Mental Health, Dementia, Developmental Disabilities
- One (1) year experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting
- Proficiency with Point Click Care E-Mar documentation
