Job Summary
Monitor overall medical records to validate MDS coding support and ensure timely completion of Care Area Triggers and Patient Care Plans. Work with the interdisciplinary team to maintain documentation accuracy through ongoing in-services for center partners. Organize scheduling and meet strict deadlines while applying expertise in the Resident Assessment Instrument, SNF Part A Medicare rules, and geriatric nursing practice. CMAC certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse – graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
- Professional experience in the practice of geriatrics nursing
- Knowledge and expertise in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument including all applicable rules and regulations
- Knowledge of SNF Part A Medicare and Consolidated billing rules
Desired Qualifications
- CMAC Certification preferred
