Job Summary
Provide specialized anesthesia care as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps, including administering general anesthesia, airway management, respiratory care, and fluid therapy to servicemembers, retirees, and their families; opportunities for Army Active Duty or Army Reserve with potential for educational benefits, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive military benefits; program supports advanced education through the USAGPAN pathway and a structured training environment within Army medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Advanced Nursing Degree (ADN)
- Graduate of ACEN/CCNE/NLN-accredited nursing program (older degree)
- CRNA degree accredited by COA
- Must pass NCLEX and board certifications
- RN license current, valid, active and unrestricted
- License to practice medicine in US/DC/PR
- Eligibility for board certification
- Must be US citizen for Active Duty
- Must have permanent US Residency for Reserve duty officers
- Must be between 21 and 42 years of age
