Job Summary
CRNA for locum tenens in an acute-care hospital with OB, orthopedics, ENT, endoscopy, and general surgery. Responsible for regional anesthesia placements (epidurals, spinals, peripheral nerve blocks), CVL placement, and epidural blood patches. Shift options include 8s, 10s, or 12-hour in-house duties, with one call every four nights and occasional weekends. Approximately 200 obstetric deliveries per year. Requires NBCRNA certification and an active North Carolina license. EMR familiarity with Meditech, Qgenda, Cerner, and AIMS. Credentialing timeline around 30 days; emergencies privileges or temporary privileges available. AMN Healthcare provides travel, lodging, and malpractice support.
Required Qualifications
- NBCRNA certification
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Regional anesthesia proficiency (epidurals, spinal, peripheral nerve blocks)
- Central venous line placement
- OB anesthesia experience and endoscopy/general surgery support
- Experience with Meditech, Qgenda, Cerner, AIMS EMR systems
- Credentialing within 30 days and temporary/emergency privileges offered
