Job Summary
Provide locum tenens support for healthy pediatric cases (ages 4+) across Medicine, Acute Pain, Vascular, OB, Endoscopy, General, Gynecology, Peds, Ortho, and Plastic services. Manage Monday through Friday shifts from 7am to 3pm with call coverage 3pm to 7am, plus weekend 24-hour coverage from 7am to 7am. Perform anesthesia for procedures including tonsillectomies, orthopedic surgeries, minor broken bones, and occasional appendectomies. Credentialing within 90 days; AMN Healthcare handles travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Available for Monday - Friday shifts 7am - 3pm
- Available for call coverage 3pm - 7am
- Available for weekend 24 hour call (Saturday & Sunday) 7am - 7am
- Ability to handle some healthy PEDs cases no younger than age 4 usually 7+
- Experience with tonsil procedures
- Experience with orthopedic procedures
- Experience with minor broken bones
- Experience with occasional appendectomy
- Knowledge of Medicine
- Knowledge of Acute pain Svc
- Knowledge of Major Vascular
- Knowledge of OB
- Knowledge of Endoscopy
- Knowledge of General anesthesia
- Knowledge of Gynecology
- Knowledge of Peds
- Knowledge of Ortho (Hips, Knees, Shoulders)
- Knowledge of Plastic surgery
- Ability to work as part of a Care Team or independently
- Ability to complete credentialing within 90 days
