Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) needed for urgent full-time locum coverage in Blacksburg, VA. The role supports a care team with a 1:4 ratio and requires coverage across multiple surgical specialties, including General, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, GI, Obstetrics and some Vascular. Shifts are typically Day, with five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts. EMR used is EPIC. Credentialing timeframe is ~100 days. AMN Healthcare arranges malpractice insurance and handles travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation for contractor providers. Required Qualifications
- CRNA certification
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) status
- Virginia licensure or eligibility
- EPIC EMR experience
- ability to work shifts of 8 or 10 hours (five 8s or four 10s)
- experience with cases including General, Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, GI, Obstetrics, and some Vascular
- capable of working in a hospital setting
- locum tenens/temporary assignment experience
- malpractice insurance arrangement support by staffing provider
