Job Summary
Deliver and manage anesthesia care for elective and emergent procedures while collaborating with physicians and the patient care team. Identify age-specific needs for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, adhering to the CRNA Clinical Activity List. Complete required in-house call rotations, including 2-8 hour shifts and one 24-hour shift weekly. Candidates must hold a current PA license as a registered nurse, valid re-certification, and BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. GRNA candidates work under direct supervision of a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and cover only one certification cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Graduate of an approved school of Anesthesia
- 1 Year of clinical experience
- Current PA license as registered nurse
- Current, valid certificate from the counsel on re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Ability to function under stress
- Communication skills
- Appreciation of personal limitations
- Required in-house call
- 2-8's and 1 24-hour shift per week
