Job Summary

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist (CRNA) delivers accurate, safe, patient-centric anesthesia care in a hospital setting. Responsible for understanding physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, continuously monitors vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines, and ensures appropriate documentation in line with hospital and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates professionalism, ethics, and commitment to patient care while engaging in projects to maintain and advance professional competency. Eligible for a $60K sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance. Requires CRNA training, board certification, and CT APRN/RN licensure with applicable credentials; EPIC EMR experience; ability to lift and move patients as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program
  • Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA)
  • CRNAs must be able to stand for long periods, wear lead, lift 25 pounds, and move between anesthesia locations
  • APRN, PA, CRNA, CNM appointment and credentialing to YNHHS Medical Staff
  • CT RN and APRN license
  • ACLS
  • DEA registration
  • State of CT Controlled Substance Registration
