Job Summary
CRNA delivers accurate, patient-centric anesthetic care. The role requires understanding physiologic implications and anesthetic considerations of surgical procedures, continuous monitoring of vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry per ASA guidelines, and ensuring appropriate documentation in alignment with hospital and regulatory requirements. The CRNA maintains professional ethics and confidentiality, participates in ongoing projects to advance competency, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team within Yale New Haven Health System. The position includes in-house call responsibilities with a flexible schedule and opportunities for professional growth, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus. Knowledge of EPIC EMR and hospital operations is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- AANA Certification
- State of CT RN and APRN License
- ACLS
- DEA Registration
- State of CT Controlled Substance Registration
- Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program
- Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs
