Job Summary
Provide residents with comfort and safety by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and transferring. Measure and record vital signs, log care provided into the Electronic Medical Records system, and observe symptoms to report changes to nursing staff. Safely perform movements involving lifting and transferring in excess of 50 pounds while maintaining equipment and supplies. Answer call lights promptly and deliver tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive situations under the direction of Charge Nurses.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience as a caregiver
- Good communication skills
