Job Summary
Nurse Aide Healthcare Technician provides direct patient care and support, including assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, vital signs, and feeding/ambulation; maintains patient rooms and supports clerical tasks; observes and reports changes in patient conditions; orients patients and families to the unit and safety practices; performs basic clinical tasks such as 12-lead ECGs and venipuncture with appropriate training; requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification; schedule includes some weekends and holidays; 36 hours per week; benefits eligible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II
- BLS required per policy guidelines
