Job Summary
Nurse Aide in Training program with on-the-floor and online training, leading toward Certified Nurse Aide eligibility. Provide residents with activities of daily living support under Charge Nurses, document care in EMR, monitor vital signs, report changes, assist with transfers and mobility, and ensure compassionate, customer-service oriented care. Training may be offered at Regency locations or via local programs; Education Assistance provided at no cost upon achieving program requirements. Responsibilities include observing and reporting conditions, carrying out care plans, assisting with bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake, maintaining equipment, responding to call lights, and performing other duties as assigned by Nurse Management. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is high preferred
- Experience as a caregiver is preferred
- Good communication skills.
