Job Summary
Nurse Aide position at Fisher-Titus in Norwalk, OH. The role involves assisting with patient care under the supervision of licensed staff, performing tasks to support nurses and physicians, accurate data collection and documentation in electronic medical records, patient transfers/discharges, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment. Requires greeting patients, professional communication, teamwork within the department, and participation in required safety and infection control training. Part-time daytime shifts (7a-7p), with 2 shifts per week, and benefits including medical/dental coverage, 401K match, PTO, and tuition assistance; $1,000 sign-on bonus and shift/weekend/PRN differentials are offered.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform patient care activities under supervision of licensed personnel
- Experience or ability to use electronic medical records
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Willingness to participate in safety/infection control training
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior nursing assistant experience preferred
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR)
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Teamwork and collaboration with nursing staff
- Ability to lift and transfer patients
- Attention to detail and compassionate demeanor
