Job Summary
The Nurse Aid (NA) provides services to assigned patients in accordance with care plans and facility policies. Responsibilities include maintaining safety and a therapeutic environment, assisting in patient admissions and discharges, and reporting changes in patients' conditions. The position requires effective communication skills, confidentiality maintenance, and teamwork. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and be registered as an Unlicensed Assistant Personnel within three months of hire, with a BLS certification preferred. This role may involve exposure to health risks and requires the ability to lift at least 35 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Registered as an Unlicensed Assistant Personnel (UAP) or completion within three (3) months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

- 1 year prior experience in ER/Med-Surg preferred
