Job Summary
Registered Nurse A providing patient-centred care in the Chronic Resident Unit at Wheatland Lodge, Leask. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client care under the Nursing Unit Manager/Director of Nursing, within SHA guidelines; requires BScN (or nursing diploma/PSN credentials), BLS and ACLS, and CRNS/CRPNS registration eligibility. Salary Band Nurse A and casual, non-guaranteed hours, with incentive eligibility potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
