Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides culturally safe, client-centered home care with a focus on cultural care planning, inclusion of traditional practices, and holistic support for First Nation, Métis and Inuit clients and families. Works with clients, families, communities, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure care respects cultural values, promotes wellness, and strengthens connections to community supports and traditional healing practices. Travel to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks; valid driver’s license required. Must have RN license with CRNS and BCLS, plus nursing education from an approved school. Relocation not specified; union SUN. Full-time position with days, evenings, weekends, and stats.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification
- Licenses: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Provide travel to various community sites within Regina PHC Networks
- Demonstrated independent nursing judgment in a community-based environment
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making
- Commitment to culturally safe, client-centered home care for First Nation, Métis and Inuit clients and families
