Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre Admission Clinic at Grace Hospital provides professional nursing services for patients with complex needs, including administration of prescribed treatments, leadership within the healthcare team, and coordination of patient care and discharge under the Manager’s supervision. Requires graduation from an approved RN program, CRNM registration, and current BCLS certification. Satisfactory employment history and ability to work days in an in-person, full-time role with 7.75 daily hours. Preference for Indigenous language competency and knowledge of Indigenous customs. Demonstrates adherence to RHPA, PHIA, WHMIS, and other regulatory standards; strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability to stressful environments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- CRNM registration
- BCLS certification
- experience in surgical/pre-operative clinic preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
- physically able for moderate to heavy effort
- strong communication skills
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands
