Nurse/1:1 Paraprofessional (Anticipated)

Provide student-specific nursing support and serve as the assigned one-to-one paraprofessional for the student during the school day and related programming, assisting with instruction access, transitions, mobility, safety, organization, communication, behavior support, self-help, and participation in the school environment in accordance with the student's IEP/health plan; monitor health and safety needs, communicate concerns to certified/administrative staff, implement plans under professional direction, maintain records/logs, collaborate with teachers, nurses, therapists, and administrators, attend required trainings, and perform other student-specific duties within the scope of the dual nursing/paraprofessional role (including toileting, feeding, lifting, positioning, transfers) as needed and permitted. Also assist with building needs when the student is absent and participate in required training and professional development as per district policies.
