Job Summary
Conduct stationary guarding and foot/vehicle patrols at nuclear power facilities to protect against intrusion and sabotage. Monitor CCTV, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems while controlling access for personnel, materials, and vehicles. Identify safety and fire hazards, report deficiencies, and take corrective actions as directed. Maintain appropriate logs and deter criminal activity, misconduct, and safety violations. Compose reports and complete background investigations and drug screens as required. Work scheduled twelve-hour shifts in Perry, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- 21+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work scheduled twelve-hour shifts
- Sound business judgment and acumen coupled with dispute resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, project management, and organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete a background investigation
- Ability to successfully complete a drug screen
