Job Summary
Performs Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) activities to ensure plant operations are in compliance with governmental regulations and license conditions, and that a criticality excursion and its consequences will not occur. Develops and maintains NCS procedures, advises on facility and equipment modifications for NCS criteria, conducts audits, investigates unusual NCS-related occurrences, reviews procedures for NCS criteria, coordinates NCS work with outside consultants, maintains records, and keeps current with relevant publications to enhance the NCS Program.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. -- Engineering (Nuclear Engineering preferred)
- One - two years' relevant experience in the nuclear fuel cycle.
