Job Summary

Nuclear Quality Lead Auditor is responsible for directing, planning, and performing internal and external quality assessments to ensure compliance with U.S. and international nuclear quality regulations and standards (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 71 Subpart H, 10 CFR 21, CSA N286-12, CSA N299.1, ISO 9001, ISO 19443, ASME NQA-1). Develops expertise in the discipline, serves as a quality-resource, and supports strategy execution within the area of responsibility. Communicates effectively across all levels, influences stakeholders, and assists with improvements to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time including international locations; ability to obtain and maintain site security clearance as required. This role is with GVH and involves representing the organization during external, customer, and regulatory assessments/visits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a nuclear QA Program
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in quality assurance, quality auditing or related capacity
  • Ability and willingness to travel to other GVH, customer, and supplier facilities (including international locations) up to 50% of the time

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a nuclear QA Program
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in quality assurance, quality auditing or related capacity
  • Ability and willingness to travel to other GVH, customer, and supplier facilities (including international locations) up to 50% of the time
  • Certified, or able to certify, as a Lead Auditor to ASME NQA-1 standard
  • Demonstrated familiarity with nuclear industry standards and expectations (e.g. ASME, CSA, ISO, IAEA, INPO, NEI, EPRI)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and effectively interact with various levels of management to resolve issues
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a site security clearance, including NRC required background check
