Job Summary

Nuclear Quality Engineer responsible for supporting the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program, including customer specifications, supplier quality, audits, nonconformance management, corrective/preventive actions, and compliance with nuclear quality standards (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, ASME NQA-1). Collaborates across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Document Control, and Customer Quality teams; leads and assists in audits, root-cause analysis, supplier qualification, problem-solving, and continuous improvement to ensure product quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Quality
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of quality systems, corrective action processes, nonconformance management, document control, and audit practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, purchase orders, drawings, procedures, and quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
