Job Summary
Nuclear Pharmacy Technician at Cardinal Health supporting radiopharmaceutical preparation under licensed supervision. Responsibilities include drawing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, labeling, performing quality assurance tests, maintaining inventory and records, assisting with labeling blood cell products, general laboratory and facility cleanup, clerical duties, and providing customer support. Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to work flexible hours, and comply with regulatory guidelines in a nuclear environment. Pay rate is $20.00 per hour with benefits and potential overtime; requires willingness to work early shifts and varying schedules. This role emphasizes precise labeling, dose preparation, compliance with DOT and company guidelines, and collaboration with pharmacists and nuclear medicine staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy, state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or PTCB preferred
- National pharmacy technician registration/license preferred
- Ability to manage up to 75 pounds
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
- Intermediate computer skills
