Job Summary
Manager, Nuclear Pharmacy oversees one of Cardinal Health’s nuclear pharmacies to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations and timely, quality delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to customers. Leads adherence to standard operating procedures, implements operational changes from leadership, ensures regulatory compliance with national/state radiopharmaceutical regulations, directs trainings for all nuclear pharmacy staff, serves as Authorized User and Pharmacist in Charge, oversees fleet logistics for timely delivery, and supervises pharmaceutical professionals and support staff. Collaborates with Sales to inform product commitments/pricing, manages departmental budget, meets with customers to understand evolving needs, and drives short- to mid-term strategic input for the business unit. Requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, strong communication, budgeting, staffing, and cross-functional collaboration skills to maintain compliance, safety, and performance in a nuclear pharmacy environment, including travel to regional meetings and customer sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Licensed Pharmacist or able to obtain Pharmacist licensure in the state where position is located
- Willing to obtain multi-state licensures
- Must hold a valid driver's license
