Job Summary

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce patient body images for diagnostic purposes. Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while monitoring vital signs during the procedure. Ensure safety of patients and staff by following established radiation safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Requires current NMTCB or ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS certification. Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology
  • Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
  • Experience in performing Nuclear PET CT imaging procedures
  • Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulations
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
