Job Summary
Conduct structured nuclear operations training, complete assigned learning modules, and perform plant system walkdowns and equipment observations. Engage in onsite familiarization activities, shadowing experiences, and control room observation under supervision while applying engineering fundamentals to plant systems. Assist with procedure validation, documentation updates, and configuration control tasks as assigned. Maintain consistent progress toward program milestones through recurring check-ins with supervisors and mentors, delivering presentations for milestone reviews. Participate in year-round, part-time development activities aligned with academic schedules to prepare for future nuclear operations leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline
- Expected graduation date of May 2029
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Ability to meet plant access requirements and comply with applicable site expectations
- Interest in power generation, plant systems, engineering application, or nuclear operations
- Education: High School Grad/GED
- Experience: 0+ years
- Nuclear Experience: 0+ years
