Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing imaging studies and related procedures per department protocols, preparing and positioning patients, administering radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining quality control and documentation. Demonstrates independent judgment and teamwork, communicates effectively with physicians and patients, and uses equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies while adhering to department procedures and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA Nuclear Medicine Program
- ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
- Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience - Preferred
