Job Summary
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine exams, set up equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining medical history, administering radiopharmaceuticals per protocol, ensuring accurate patient identification, reviewing images, and communicating with patients and physicians. Maintain equipment functionality, document procedures, manage post-procedural care, participate in orientation and training, and support departmental quality control, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration. Demonstrates independent judgment, critical thinking, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment, with emphasis on patient care, safety, and compassionate service.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA Nuclear Medicine Program - Required
- ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients - Required
- Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience - Preferred
