Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, set up equipment and position patients to obtain quality diagnostic studies, administer radiopharmaceuticals per department protocols, verify patient identity and orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Maintain imaging quality with proper calibration, operate NM equipment, review and transmit studies to PACS/RIS, and support the department through documentation, education, and collaboration with radiologists and staff. Demonstrates competence in sterile technique, venipuncture, preprocedural verification, Time Out processes, and adherence to Joint Commission standards while providing compassionate, age-appropriate patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA Nuclear Medicine Program - Required
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT - Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association - Required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients - Required
  • Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience - Preferred
