Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary
Provide nuclear medicine imaging exams per department protocols using radiopharmaceuticals, set up equipment, position patients, verify clinician orders, ensure patient safety and privacy, document findings, and communicate with physicians and patients. Maintain image quality, participate in pre/post-procedural care, manage equipment, and support department operations while adhering to Joint Commission and hospital policies. Requires AMA Nuclear Medicine Program training and ARRT CNMT or RN CNMT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of nuclear medicine experience; ability to work a Thursday-Friday-Saturday day shift in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA Nuclear Medicine Program
- ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
- Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience - Preferred
