Job Summary
Perform both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures, including general studies, cardiac studies, and associated computer interactions. Provide clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed. Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, standards, objectives, and quality assurance needs for Nuclear Medicine services. Requires rotating call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts ranging from 12 to 14 hours. This role supports the Nuclear Medicine Team at UVM Medical Center, which utilizes state-of-the-art equipment like Philips digital PET/CT scanners and GE SPECT/CT systems to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine
- Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine
- Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont
Desired Qualifications
- Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine
