Job Summary
Reviews patient history, physician orders, and schedules exams. Educates patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Orders, prepares, administers, stores, and disposes of radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols. Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, and performs quality control procedures. Positions patients, performs imaging procedures, analyzes results, and reports scan data. Monitors patient condition and responds to status changes. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Full-time onsite role at UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
