Job Summary

Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules; educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocols. Monitor patient conditions continuously and report status changes. Prepare equipment, select imaging parameters, and perform quality control procedures. Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results to resolve image quality issues. Enter, transmit, and report scan results while applying critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment. Full-time days shift with 80 hours per pay period at $40.40–$56.56/hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
  • BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
