Job Summary
Review patient history, physician orders, and schedules; educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure cooperation. Order, prepare, administer, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocols. Monitor patient conditions, report status changes, and perform quality control on imaging equipment. Position patients for imaging, analyze results, and resolve image quality issues by re-positioning or repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results while exercising critical thinking and decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment. Full-time days shift, 80 hours per pay period, onsite in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
