Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed to perform nuclear medicine and PET exams in collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists. Responsibilities include adhering to established procedure protocols, ensuring patient safety and education, maintaining accurate documentation, conducting quality control and calibration, handling radioactive materials per hot lab procedures, and delivering excellent customer service. Requires NY licensure, CNMT or ARRT certification, and CPR, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Sign-on bonuses available for full-time and part-time roles; experience in computers and problem solving is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
- New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License
- CNMT certification or ARRT registration as a nuclear medicine technologist
- CPR Certification
