Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET procedures alongside board-certified radiologists and cardiologists. Manage hot lab workflows, including strict quality control, daily calibrations, and safe radiopharmaceutical handling. Maintain precise documentation within RIS, PACS, and Dose Management systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve patient comfort and imaging efficiency. Work a stable day-shift schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with limited on-call for specific emergency exams.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
- Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License, or eligible to apply for NYS licensure (out-of-state candidates must apply to the NYS Department of Health)
- CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(N) certification required
- CPR Certification required (can be obtained at hire)
- Strong computer literacy skills required
- Strong Problem solving, trouble shooting, and critical thinking skills required
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
