Job Summary
Perform radiopharmaceutical scans of various body parts to assist radiologists in diagnosing disease processes for patients of all ages. Conduct diagnostic imaging services within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and current professional standards. Administer IVs and communicate effectively with patients and the care team. Maintain ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine and board registration as required. Operate as a registered professional supporting the Radiology team with flexible PRN hours based on departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training program
- ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N)
- Registered and eligible with Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- General knowledge of other imaging modalities
