Job Summary
Check, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals before administering them to patients via intravenous, oral, or inhalation routes. Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, administer imaging procedures, and maintain reliable records under Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines. Work day shifts as a part-time role of 20 hours per week under the direction of a nuclear medicine supervisor or radiologist.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- NJ State license
- Registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.M.T.C.B., or Registry eligible Maintain required
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
- Successful completion of IV training class
- Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS
- Day Shift
- Part-Time
- 20 hours per week
