Job Summary
Check, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals prior to administering to patients, then perform imaging procedures and administer radiopharmaceuticals intravenously, orally, or by inhalation. Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals while maintaining reliable records under Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines. Conduct other duties as required by the department under the direction of the nuclear medicine supervisor and/or radiologist. Work a day shift part-time schedule of 20 hours per week. Earn a sign-on bonus for external hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- NJ State license
- Registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.M.T.C.B., or Registry eligible Maintain required
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
- Successful completion of IV training class
- Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS
- Day Shift
- Part-Time
- 20 hours per week
