Job Summary

Check, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals before administering them to patients intravenously, orally, or by inhalation. Perform quality controls on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and conduct imaging procedures while maintaining reliable records under Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines. Participate in guest relations with the Medical Center and Radiology departments. This role requires a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, NJ State license, and successful completion of orientation and training classes. Work a day shift, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • NJ State license
  • Registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.M.T.C.B., or Registry eligible Maintain required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of site personnel general orientation and department specific orientation
  • Successful completion of IV training class
  • Successful completion of radiation safety, survey and decontamination orientation/training by RS
  • Day Shift
  • Part-Time
  • 20 hours per week
