Job Summary
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using radioisotope equipment. Calculate administered doses, interface with patients to explain procedures, and review charts for clinical information or allergies. Perform nuclear medicine and PET scans while monitoring patient conditions, inject radioisotopes, and order supplies for the next day. Maintain records of radioactive material disposal, inspect equipment for quality concerns, and coordinate scan protocols with radiologists. Transfer images to other locations as needed and address departmental concerns with leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years' experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed

- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certification
- Registry in Nuclear Medicine (N) or (CNMT)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Adheres to Envision's Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies
- Attends annual Compliance training as set forth by the Company
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds of force constantly
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
- Must have close vision

- Must be available for weekend shifts
