Job Summary
Provide health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and CT exams, procedures, and related techniques. Operate nuclear medicine equipment independently to provide high quality diagnostic images to radiologists and referring physicians. This day shift position at Essentia Virginia Hospital requires current ARRT or NMTCB licensure. No call obligation applies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program
- Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration
- Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
