Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures for patients across all age groups under the direction of the Department Director and Lead Technologist. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, other physicians, and the Area Physicist to meet department and regulatory standards. Participate in the call schedule to meet staffing needs. Work 8-hour day shifts on a per diem basis at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a hospital-based nuclear medicine technologist
