Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Per Diem, OMC

Prepare and render radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies by mixing stock solutions, calculating doses, and administering treatments under physician direction. Calibrate equipment and perform diagnostic imaging using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation and produce organ images. Measure radioactivity with Geiger counters, scalers, and scintillation detectors while strictly following radiation safety techniques for material use and disposal. This per diem role at OMC includes other duties as assigned.
