Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist per diem position performing general, cardiac, and PET exams at MaineGeneral Health facilities (Alfond Center for Health, Thayer Center for Health, and Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care) with responsibilities including reviewing patient history, educating patients, handling radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safety and quality control, positioning patients, and analyzing imaging results; requires Maine RT license and NMTCB or ARRT certification, BLS, and proficiency with imaging workflows and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Maine License for radiological Technology/Radiographer (RT) required
- Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) OR by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
