Job Summary
Plan, organize, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a Supervisor and guidance of a Lead Technologist. Fulfill all duties required by department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards. Maintain certification as a National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist, along with California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification and BLS certification. Work 8-hour day shifts on a per diem schedule at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Per Diem
- 8-hour Day Shifts
- Under general supervision of the Supervisor, and guidance of the Lead Technologist
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with cameras/computers of the same manufacturer as those at St. Joseph hospital
- Infant through older adult nuclear medicine procedure experience
- Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
