Job Summary
Plan, organize, and perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of the Supervisor and guidance of the Lead Technologist. Fulfill all department quality assurance, Federal, State, and JCAHO Standards. Maintain certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Registered Technologist, and California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certified, along with BLS certification. Work 8-hour day shifts on a per diem basis at St. Joseph Hospital-Orange.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine training program
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
- National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Per Diem
- 8-hour Day Shifts
- On-site
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with cameras/computers of the same manufacturer as those at St. Joseph hospital
- Infant through older adult nuclear medicine procedure experience
- Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
